Our Story
Built from the ground up.
Montgomery Precision started from nothing more than skill, determination, and a shared belief that manufacturing still matters.
The company was built organically from the ground up by two friends with backgrounds in engineering and machining who shared a passion for precision manufacturing and for a trade that has become increasingly difficult to preserve.
From the beginning, the goal was larger than simply operating machines. We wanted to build a company that could solve difficult manufacturing problems, support demanding industries, create opportunities for skilled work, and help keep machining and engineering strong in the United States.

A passion for manufacturing
World-class machining and fabrication.
At Montgomery Precision, our mission is to deliver world-class machining and fabrication services for customers who depend on intricate, reliable, and high-quality components.
We continuously work to improve our processes, equipment, tooling, programming, and production methods so that we can provide better quality, stronger repeatability, and more efficient manufacturing.
We support projects that require:
- Precision CNC machining
- Fabrication and welding
- Prototype development
- Production manufacturing
- Reverse engineering
- Design and engineering support
- Difficult-to-source components
- Practical manufacturing solutions
Growing through the challenges
Solving problems one project at a time.
Building a manufacturing company from the ground up has meant learning through real challenges. Every new machine, customer, process, fixture, inspection requirement, production schedule, and difficult material has helped shape Montgomery Precision into the company it is becoming.
That experience has reinforced the values that continue to guide us:
We believe strong manufacturing companies are built through experience, discipline, and a willingness to keep improving.
Engineering and manufacturing working together
Design and production should not exist separately.
One of the core ideas behind Montgomery Precision is that engineering and manufacturing should not exist separately. A good design must be practical to manufacture. A good manufacturing process must understand the purpose of the design.
Our team approaches projects with both perspectives. This engineering-driven approach allows us to support customers from an early idea through finished production hardware.
We work to understand:
-
01
What the component must do
-
02
How it will be manufactured
-
03
Which features are critical
-
04
How it will be inspected
-
05
How production can be made repeatable
-
06
How the design can transition from prototype to production
More than a machine shop
Shaping what comes next.
Our long-term vision extends beyond traditional machining and fabrication. Montgomery Precision is committed to research and development in areas that we believe will shape the future of engineering and manufacturing.
Our areas of interest include:
By combining precision manufacturing with engineering and research, we aim to develop practical, high-performance solutions that can benefit both industry and consumers.
Research, development, and innovation
Helping create what comes next.
We believe manufacturing companies should not only build existing products. They should also help create what comes next.
Our research and development efforts are focused on turning engineering concepts into physical systems that can be tested, improved, and eventually brought into practical use.
The same skills required to manufacture a precision component — design, machining, fabrication, programming, testing, and problem solving — can also be used to develop entirely new technologies.
Our goal is to continue strengthening those capabilities as Montgomery Precision grows.
Keeping the trade alive
Generations of knowledge.
Precision machining is a trade built on generations of knowledge. It requires an understanding of machines, materials, tooling, measurement, mathematics, programming, engineering, and hands-on problem solving.
We believe those skills remain essential to the future of American industry. Part of our mission is to contribute to keeping manufacturing knowledge alive and passing it into the next generation.
We want Montgomery Precision to be a place where engineering and skilled trades reinforce one another and where people can continue learning how things are designed, built, repaired, and improved.
Manufacturing in America
More than parts.
We believe strong domestic manufacturing creates more than parts. It builds:
- Technical knowledge
- Skilled careers
- Supply-chain resilience
- Industrial capability
- Innovation
- Economic opportunity
- Stronger communities
Montgomery Precision is proud to contribute to manufacturing and engineering in the United States. As we grow, we want to continue investing in equipment, people, processes, and technical capabilities that help strengthen domestic manufacturing.
Giving back through engineering
Building something that provides value beyond itself.
Our vision also includes contributing to the community around us. As Montgomery Precision grows, we want to create opportunities for people to learn machining, engineering, robotics, fabrication, and other technical skills.
We believe that exposure to real manufacturing and engineering can inspire the next generation of machinists, technicians, engineers, and innovators.
Building the company is not only about creating a successful business. It is also about building something that can provide value beyond itself.
Our mission
To deliver world-class machining and fabrication services while continuously advancing our capabilities in precision manufacturing.
Beyond production manufacturing, we are committed to research and development in robotics, electric mobility, energy storage, and other emerging technologies.
By combining engineering, manufacturing, innovation, and practical problem solving, we aim to create reliable and affordable solutions for both industry and future technologies.
Building a better future through engineering and manufacturing.
Montgomery Precision began with two friends, a passion for machining and engineering, and the belief that manufacturing is worth preserving.
We are still building. Still learning. Still improving.
As we grow, we are hiring interns and welcoming students who want hands-on experience in machining, engineering, and fabrication. We also look for ways to give back to the community around us, because a manufacturing company should strengthen the place it calls home.
And our long-term goal remains the same:
To turn ideas into real, useful, and innovative solutions while helping keep engineering and manufacturing strong for the next generation.
